    Locked out by entry password

This morning I typed in my entry password as I've done since I got my computer. This message, "The user name or password is incorrect" came up, thus I wasn't allowed access. I checked my entry by retyping the password a number of times, checking to make sure the caps key wasn't on, etc. etc. When I couldn't get in, I clicked on "Change Password." This didn't work, either, since it seems I need a recovery flash drive containing the information to do so. I know, for sure, I don't have such media. Am I screwed here? I shut down the computer last night doing nothing consciously to corrupt or alter the password that's worked for two years. Thanks for any help you can offer !! (Dell 660s, Windows 7, 64 bit, running Firefox)

This should help: User Account Password - Change from WinRE

I've used this several times and it works great.
