so i have a .tmp file on my computer and when i try to delete it, it says could not find this item, i have searched the web but i cant find anyone with a problem concerning .tmp files. any help would be appreciated.
Hi and welcome to 7F. Go to My Computer click on Folder Options at the top click Folder Options then choose the View tab and click the Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives. Apply then OK then go to C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Temp and see if it's there. You can also download CCleaner and clean it with that. It's possible it's already been deleted
Go to search by the start button.
Type....%tmp%
You can then manually delete them.
Be sure that they are not needed and will not cause any problems when deleted. If it were me and I did not know that it was, I would not tamper with it. Many members have caused themselves problems by making changes without knowing the consequences.
thank you but no matter what i did i couldnt find it, i am downloadin ccleaner right now.
