Admin Password lockout after xfer of settings

I've looked around a bit and seen some good advice, but am still stymied; here goes...

Backed up settings and files using PCMover app, following instructions for xfer from Vista to Windows 7. Windows 7 installed fine, and re-installed PCMover to finish the transfer.

After the transfer was complete, Windows rebooted to a login screen with only an Admin defined. I never had an admin account set up; must have been used by the manufacturer. Still, I tried every password I could think of; also "" and "admin."

I have used (after reading here) ophcrack (finds no password to crack), and
Offline NT Password & Registry Editor (hangs during the boot sequence after finding several UDMAs) with no results.

I cannot boot into Safe Mode, get to a command prompt, or even boot from the Win7 install cd. No idea what else to add.

Thanks for any ideas.
