    Unable to print pdf files.

    Hi,
I am using windows 7 and unable to print pdf files . I have re-installed adobe reader and also tried older version of adobe reader. I tried some other pdf reader like foxit reader but facing the same issue. I also re-installed printer software.
    Please help!

    Thanks.

Foxit Reader's PRINT feature will ask for the Default printer as does Adobe. NEVER set the program as the default printer. Use the setting for your printer (HP Epson,Etc) and that should work for you. PDF files are usually printed from a reader program or a word processor that supports PDF files.

Is this all .pdf files, or just a particular one? Creators of .pdf can enable a setting somewhere to disable the printing of it if they don't want hardcopies floating around, or are trying to make you buy it.

Can you copy/paste the pdf to something like Notepad of Wordpad and then print?

Do you have a program such as Libre Office try printing from that. Look for a print as image option. Also try this; close all your apps, go into your printing preferences, look for an advanced tab, disable any advanced printing features or options.

So what exactly happens whenever you try to print a pdf file? Are you getting some kind of error message or is the print job just going into the queue and nothing happens after that? Also, I'm assuming that you can successfully print from other applications such as Microsoft Word or Notepad?
