    Magnifier stopped working

I use the magnifier tool frequently, it's assigned to one of the side buttons of my MS Intellimouse.

Well it suddenly just stopped working, I can't start it from either the mouse button or the Control Panel Ease of Use Access Center. When I try to start it I just see the circular "busy" icon spin for a split second and then nothing else happens.

I just installed a ton of Windows Updates that arrived in this week's Patch Tuesday. I wonder if one of them broke the magnifier. Anyone else experiencing problems?

I know there was an update that was kind of buggy that was uploaded a few days ago, but I used Windows Update again today, the released a fix and magnifier works again for me.

Thanks, that was indeed the problem. And as icing on the cake, after uninstalling that update my machine hung on the shutdown screen saying "Do not turn off your computer", but I eventually forced a restart and it worked OK.

    Appreciate the help.
