SSD full with only windows 7 installed

    SSD full with only windows 7 installed


    hi I just bought a SSD 120GB and I have installed windows 7 with some other apps for a total of about 50GB. but windows7 tell me that I have only 5GB free space. how can is it possible this strange thing?

    Top suspects would be:

    1: Amount of space devoted to System Restore

    2: Amount of space devoted to hibernation file

    3: Amount of space devoted to page file

    4: Runaway program of some type, doing stuff you don't expect.

    I'd definitely move the My Documents Folder onto an HD, if you can
    and the My Music Folder as well, if you've got a lot of music installed

    - they can both grow like mad, if you don't watch them..

    System specs would also help us, especially the amount of RAM you have.
    The amount of RAM affects hibernate and page file size.
