Everything is crashing? Chrome pages and games. What's up?

If Windows Update doesn't have a driver Win7 prefers, then it's fine to go to Drivers | GeForce and use the Automatic Driver Update to scan your PC and give you the latest driver package.

Every HD test has a flash stick version which might be listed at the links in HD Diagnostic. Did you check the one listed for your version? The Win7 installation media if you dont' have it or a System Repair Disk is provided in Clean Reinstall Windows 7 and can be used to do the accompanying Disk Check as recounted there.

Once we see your exact specs we can help find you another installer for your display driver, as it seems yours is failing during extraction. Can you try using Windows Explorer to open it (rightclick file to Open With Explorer) since it seems 7Zip is having problems. Maybe you need to uninstall 7Zip to see.

Just to check: Did you enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3)
then Check for Updates to see if any are pending for Important or Optional. This will release some drivers to be added to the list.

I don't mean to be rude, but would you mind providing me the download links for that? I can't quite see the website really well since it's not very well formatted and my browser's not reading into the websites really well too. I came across a different thread with the 7zip error today while looking at things I might help solve. The suggestions were to install a new driver, unfortunately, the other member simply came back and poster "Thanks, it's fixed" without any detail.

So once the memory tests are done, you should look at (hmmmmm no system specs) you mfgr web site to see if there is an updated driver - NOT NOW though

The interesting thing is that NVidia purportedly does not zip their install packages so the question was "Where did you get the driver?" Greg is going to say "Use Windows Update" and that's fine.

After knowing the memory is good (one stick already failed), the crash dumps will provide more info. Hang tight.

Thank you so much for helping! How should I go about deleting my driver then reinstalling? Would that be the same as removing any other programs? I'll look into going through Windows update.

Also, I've actually just updated my spces. You should be able to see it now. It's taking really long for me to do things on the website because my browser's crashing once every 2 seconds now. I don't know why it's crashing more and more. I'm now typing everything in a text document then posting to the forum really quickly, so I apologize for any bad formatting.

Too bad I can't click on any of the buttons on the website... any fancy websites not working well for me :/

Nope! I'm not using memtest now. I'm currently trying to update the driver. I was able to extract the driver using winrar and run the setup, but the installer keeps crashing...

I went into devices and printers and saw the icon that is my computer. I then also saw a yellow flag on it. I right clicked it and it has an option to troubleshoot so I clicked it. It says that the "PCI simple communications controller does not have a driver" so I clicked apply fix but it was unable to fix it. Does this have anything to do with it you think?

Also, how do I tell windows update to look for drivers? I've already uninstalled my graphics driver but it hasn't detected anything.

Trace the Hardware Identification on the PCI device driver in Device Manager. I thought you had all your drivers?
