'No valid settings were encountered on the command line

'No valid settings were encountered on the command line'

This is the error message I get when I click on the shortcut I created (by drag and drop to the desktop) to a file whose extension is associated with a certain program (the program is Quickmirror and the extension is '.mir'). The thing is--this works on one Windows 7 computer, but not another.

The 'run as administrator' option for the shortcut is grayed out, the user has admin privileges. The shortcut is in the user's Documents. I've used Windows since 3.1, I know quite a bit, but not how to solve this.

Anyone got a clue? Thanks much. --SanDiegoScott
