When I installed 7 in the start menu was a icon that was similar to print screen but you could draw around the area you want to cut and save it as a pic. I cant find it anymore... ahhhh. I liked it too.

    Hi

.exe's are monitored by System Restore and this is one of the scenarios that tool was designed for, so pick a restore point just before you lost this and restore back to that point.
Try not to go back too far, the older the restore point the buggier things "may" become, so only go back as far as the last time you Know you had it.

Mine is in that folder. Strange? I am on 64 bit, but I can't think that matters? Double check, you may have overlooked!

Copy paste this link in your browser, and let me know if its there:
    C:\Windows\System32

See my snip below if still lost, maybe that will help?

Yeah, a lot of people don't know that you have to have Tablet PC enabled to use the snipping tool. Make sure it's checked like the screenshot from Programs and Features in the control panel.

    Hi zerodegreec,

If you do not wish to have the large Tablet pc program , just to use the snipping tool , you can use another screen capture app. instead.

I use the free Faststone Capture 53 - lots of features and capabilities despite being tiny.

    FastStone Capture 5.3 winAddons.com

    Hope it helps
