User Account Logoff in Windows 7

    Hi Experts,

One of our domain user is facing a weird problem that is when he tries to login a computer he is loged off immediately after enter credentials, he can log in to other computer with his profile.

When I made the user the member of local admin group he was able to login to the computer normally.

    What is the exact issue...???

    Any suggestions....

The userinit.exe in that particular computer is somewhat corrupted. i have faced that problem before. my solution is to copy the userinit.exe of the other computer in my domain.

you can find this at C:\Windows\System32 find userinit.exe.

or any one else has a better solution to that.

That sounds like a permission issue. Make sure that the local user's group has access to c:/users and that the user has full access to his own profile.

This could be the cause of the problem, because when i make the the user a member of administrators group or power users group he easily logged in.

That's my belief because administrators automatically have full access to most folders including profile folders unless explicitly denied access. Regular users do not however they are granted by default ownership and full access to their profile.
