BootMGR Missing.. Unusual Case

Hi seven forums I am having a problem with my pc today. It started when I was playing Mass Effect and all of a sudden my computer froze. I rebooted and during reboot I noticed the BOOT_DEVICE_LED was lit up solid red during the reboot. Surely enough my screen read SELECT PROPER BOOT DEVICE AND REBOOT... After an hour on Google ive preformed a few troubleshooting steps but noting has working. I inserted a windows 7 install disk which recognizes both of my drives, but not my OS because it isn't appering in the System Recovery Options. So I ran DISKPART, selected disk 0 where my OS is installed, selected partition 1 and marked it as active, then rebooted. Upon reboot I have a new error, BOOTMGR is missing..! Once again I booted to the disk and tried to open the Recovery Tools again but it gives me an error saying the version of system recovery is not compatible with my version of windows. So that is where I am at now any help would be appreciated because I am stumped and I would prefer not having to clean install :/ thanks I will post pictures of the errors if needed

If you have System Reserved partition as the intended boot partition, then changed the Active flag to C, it will not boot until the boot files are moved to C and it is made bootable by running Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times.

The error indicates first checking that the Win7 hard drive is set first to boot in BIOS and is Primary hard drive if there are others.

Is the HD listed under Storage, is set as Primary if that setting is present, and is it first in BIOS Boot Priority order?

If so google the serial listed if you don't know the make/model to get the maker so you can run HD Diagnostic extended CD scan followed by Disk Check from the Win7 DVD or Repair CD Command line.

If the HD passes then work through Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start

I know that the boot priority is or was set correctly but my BIOS isn't detecting one of my drives and I'm guessing it's the drive with my OS on it

Proceed with the steps I gave and report back on results. If you have any questions on how to perform any steps just ask back.

I can't launch startup repair because it gives me this error every time.

Are you booting the disk you used to install Win7?

Try another from Step 7 of Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start
making sure it's the correct bit-version.
