How to keep "new" folder template from changing

I have set a default folder template for a few of my folders in Windows 7. The problem I am having is that they change back to before I set them (2 or 3 times a day). I have to go back and reset the folder the way I want it again and use the "Apply to Folders" under tools.

Any way to get keep the folders from changing back to basic default?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello CR,

You might see if setitng a default folder view for all folders using the method in the tutorial below may be able to help. :)

Brink - Thanks for your reply. I would assume there is not a way to have some folders as 'Music' and some as 'Documents'.

    Thanks again:)

Sure. Once you set them all how you like, you would still be able change the view of any folder how you like afterwards. :)

Well , I'm back to having to reset the folders again. I have made no changes to the PC except 2 days ago I updated CrapCleaner. Today when I opened the PC the folders had returned to the default.

    Still Need Help.

If you mean CCleaner, then it has an option to reset folder views. Make sure it's unchecked before running CCleaner or CrapCleaner.

Thanks for the suggestion. With CCleaner (V5.02.5101), I can't find the option to reset folder views anywhere in the options.

Will keep a close eye on things, but for now I only have a few sub folders the change back to default settings.

    Thanks again
