Refreshing the Explorer Search Index?

How can I refresh the search index in Windows Explorer?
For example I put files in Documents a couple of hours ago, that just don't show up when I type part of the name in 'search'. The files do show up however in the Start button search!

Hi imacken,

Though this tutorial will work, it may be a bit OTT. Note the Related Links.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot - that worked. I didn't even realise that there was an indexing section in CP!
This forum never ceases to amaze me. Out of all the many dozen forums I use, this is by far the most helpful and friendly place.
