Asus laptop: Network Adapter Not Found

I am unable to connect to the internet using wifi. When I go to Intel My Wifi Technology, it tells me that a Network Adapter Not Found. When I try to troubleshoot my internet connection, I receive the message troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.

When I go to Device Manager and check the properties of my Network Adapters, device status says "This device is working properly." listed adapters are:
Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
    Intel(R) Centrino(R) WiMAX 6150
    Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 6150

I have owned this computer since May 2011 and it hasn't given me much issues. Last year the wireless adapter would sometimes automatically turn off, but I was able to fix it using troubleshooting. Now, nothing seems to get the computer to detect a network.

One more thing I'll note. When I go to Intel PROSet/Wireless Tools and diagnose, the "radio test fails
