Laptop boots directly into System Recovery page (no OS found)

Hi, not to long ago my Toshiba Satellite c655 laptop decided it wanted to directly boot into System recovery options. I couldnt recover it because my operating system wasnt found. So i tried a system repair which failed and i just recently tried recovering bootmgr using this tutorial Bootmgr is missing - Fix

Still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the hard drive detected in BIOS setup when you boot into it using the key shown on first screen?

If so work through the steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start
