Won't boot after getting "unexpected error" of avastui at shutdown

I got this error with an error code at shutdown involving avastui.exe or something like that and i had to press the power button to shut the computer off. After that only the lights on the computer would turn on, the screen stayed black. I've tried hard resetting it (taking out the battery and pressing the power button) and it still won't work

"unexpected shutdown" message when computer did shut down properly
I turned on my Windows 7 machine for a short time yesterday evening. The computer was shut down correctly, yet I got an "unexpected shutdown" message when I logged on today. Anyone else ever experience this? If so, what could have been the cause?

"Unexpected Shutdown" every time computer sleeps or hibernates

Unexpected shutdown if system service "power" is running
so my computer started unexpectedly shutting down about 60 seconds after loading windows today. No BSOD, no error message, no warning, just a hard shutdown. It happened consistently every time I started the computer, unless I was in safe mode, then I had no issues. So I went into msconfig, and...
