Windows (Microsoft) uses a quite logical system (ISO 3166 alpha-2) with language abbreviations, xx-YY, where xx (most often with lower case) tells the language and YY (most often with upper case) the region or country.

That's logical. What is not logical: In ISO 3166, usually abbreviations come from the English names of respective language and region like other of my mother tongues which is told as fi-FI, Finnish in Finland. Finnish is Suomi in my language but the abbreviation Windows uses is not su as in Suomi. In some cases the abbreviations are taken from the original name instead of the English name as in my other mother tongue's case sv-FI which means Svenska spoken in Finland. Would the abbreviation come from English word for Svenska it would be sw (Swedish). The country or region abbreviation can also be something else than English or the same in the region's own language, for instance Switzerland is CH which comes from it's Latin name Confoederatio Helvetica.

In OP's case the language abbreviation el comes from the Greek word for Greek language and Greece as a country, originally Hellas but in modern Greek Ellas. Hence the abbreviation el, here shown in Windows with Greek alphabet:

They use the name Hellas very proudly and admirably for instance in stamps:

Hence, the OP's language (Greek) spoken in Greece is for Windows el-GR.

BTW, did you know that you can use this trivial piece of information I just told you in most cases to give the OP a localized link of a Microsoft support page or article? Microsoft's homepage is a good example:

I admire your heritage and culture and feel sad about how difficult times you are going through.
