I tried the command you gave me.Nothing happened.Shall I try changing the {current} to {bootmgr},since Boot Manager's id is this?Or will it be dangerous?

No, the {current} is a subsection name.

I'm sorry, I do not know what else to try,

The tool we use here to automate bootloader settings is EasyBCD. This is what I find about working with EasyBCD in different languages: https://neosmart.net/forums/showthread.php?t=696

The author of EasyBCD is a member here Computer Guru and can be called in to consult on this. The page is already getting top google search results for this so needs to be resolved.

It may will surely be different with UEFI, but for Legacy would be
    Code:
     bcdboot c:\windows /l el-GR
Kari, do we know that "el-GR" covers OP's language? I am adapting an Italian command which is for "it-it".

LOL! Yes Greg, we know that for 100% sure.

    Totally off topic now!

    Kari's Trivial Stories, Part 187:

Windows (Microsoft) uses a quite logical system (ISO 3166 alpha-2) with language abbreviations, xx-YY, where xx (most often with lower case) tells the language and YY (most often with upper case) the region or country.

That's logical. What is not logical: In ISO 3166, usually abbreviations come from the English names of respective language and region like other of my mother tongues which is told as fi-FI, Finnish in Finland. Finnish is Suomi in my language but the abbreviation Windows uses is not su as in Suomi. In some cases the abbreviations are taken from the original name instead of the English name as in my other mother tongue's case sv-FI which means Svenska spoken in Finland. Would the abbreviation come from English word for Svenska it would be sw (Swedish). The country or region abbreviation can also be something else than English or the same in the region's own language, for instance Switzerland is CH which comes from it's Latin name Confoederatio Helvetica.

In OP's case the language abbreviation el comes from the Greek word for Greek language and Greece as a country, originally Hellas but in modern Greek Ellas. Hence the abbreviation el, here shown in Windows with Greek alphabet:

Windows Boot Manager language change in UEFI system-2015-02-15_02h36_41.png

They use the name Hellas very proudly and admirably for instance in stamps:

Hence, the OP's language (Greek) spoken in Greece is for Windows el-GR.

BTW, did you know that you can use this trivial piece of information I just told you in most cases to give the OP a localized link of a Microsoft support page or article? Microsoft's homepage is a good example:
    • Microsoft in English for USA: http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/default.aspx
    • Microsoft in French for Belgium: http://www.microsoft.com/fr-BE/default.aspx
    • Microsoft in Greek for Greece: http://www.microsoft.com/el-GR/default.aspx
    • Microsoft in German for Switzerland: http://www.microsoft.com/de-CH/default.aspx

I had tried bcdboot h:\windows /l el-GR.The first time, the OS selection menu was in Greek but somehow changed to English without doing anything.I want to know if EasyBCD is safe because I don't have a Windows 8 installation DVD in order to install Windows 8 once again.

It might help to run Windows 8 Automatic Repair and could't hurt. This is the same as Startup Repair and checks over the boot files, may repair the changes that were made that make it incorrect now.

I will try EasyBCD tomorrow,if I have leisure time.
It's not a very big problem, since I know English very well.

I admire your heritage and culture and feel sad about how difficult times you are going through. I've been often to your country, often with car taking a ferry from Italian Adriatic coast to Patras (Πάτρα, Patrasso) and driving through the countryside. It's beautiful, people so friendly it's difficult to really understand.

Everybody should remember that you had a highly developed, civilized society with philosophers, artists, culture and democracy long before the religious fanatics in Rome started to "teach" mankind how to live, when America was still ruled by its native inhabitants and we in Northern Europe were still trying to learn how to read and write.

Having days to post in this thread,I will discuss something I did right now.I changed the Windows 8.1 locale to el-GR and the select operating system page is shown in Greek. However, the Advanced Options is still in English.bcdedit shows that Windows Boot Manager,Windows 7 and 8.1 locales are el-GR.What shall I try?

Why didn't Microsoft make it simpler? What do they want? Do they want from all of us to be computer programmers or bother to call them for help and make more and more money, because of its popularity?
I won't tolerate this sign of indifference.Lately,in the last decade,Microsoft may have got money, but failures still prevent them from passing them.Windows 8,for example.Who wants a tablet-like interface on their desktop or laptop? Vista has another way. It's not the design.Security and design were outstanding features on Vista.Compatibility was the biggest issue. In my opinion,Windows 7 deserves a longer support.Windows 8 doesn't really bring something good for me.Tablets will work perfectly with it.The 10% usage of it is because the company forces everyone to buy 8.
