Poor computer performance after system restore.

Hi, I turned my computer on a couple of days ago, and when I went to log on, it said it could only log me on to the default profile, it didn't have any of my applications or games, and didn't have any of my preferances either. I restarted my computer and it still came up, so then I checked my local disk and I could see and access my profile and my documents when I clicked on users, but it kept logging me in as the default profile. I asked around and my friend suggested that I do a system restore, so I did but it said it wasn't successful at the restore, so I did it again and it took me back to when I installed direct X for Assassin's Creed on Steam. And since then I haven't had any more problems with the default profile. But ever since I did the system restore my computer takes a long time to boot up, I can't open Google Chrome so I have resorted to using Mozilla Firefox, Steam takes a long time to open, The majority of my games crash and I managed to get Counter Strike: Global Offensive working, but occasionally it crashes. I have no idea why any of this is happening and would like it if someone knew what I could do to make it better.

When I did the restore, I used Ccleaner to clean up my hard drive, and look for errors in my registry, and I had about 200 errors so it fixed it for me, but it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.

    Thanks in advance

Make sure you have updated all of Windows updates that may have been deleted. Make sure your Java, flash, silverlight, adobe ...ect...all updated to the latest versions.

You should be able to log off if you ever get the default profile issue by using ctrl alt delete and click on log off and log back on to your admin profile.

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to go over your system most thoroughly, starting with infection scans, System File integrity, establishing a Clean Boot, checking System Resources for Problems and Solutions, resolving repeat errors, test the RAM and HD.
