Basic questions about using Windows 7
How do you do a hard drive search in Windows 7? How do you explore? How do you get to the option of opening all folders in the same window or each in its own window?
Thanks for any help!

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
There's allot of folders system...................... what exactly are you looking for ?
Considering win-7 install is often 36gb and that's minimal programs and most of those files should not be accessed except for your personal files and programs.
For the most part you can click on the yellow folder icon on your taskbar and be directed to where you can open anything you want to
Cheers.
1) Enter search criteria in the search bar.
2) Open Windows Explorer (Either Computer or Libraries)
3) Control Panel>Folder Options
You can control what folders and drives are included in the indexing that can instantly find a searched item. This is done at Index Locations - Add or Remove - Windows 7 Forums.
If you're unhappy with Indexing you can start over and Rebuild Index -- Windows 7 Forums
You can browse the many folder view choices available in Control Panel>Folder Options, particularly on the View tab.
