Computer Screen turns blue on desktop startup

This issue happened randomly when I was skyping with my friends and playing a game as well. The screen turned a weird black and white lines stretch across the monitor but my call was not affected and same for my game. I could still hear my game and them but couldn't see anything on my monitor.

I restarted my computer in normal mode and logged in as usual. But after a minute my screen turned this weird blue like color (it wasnt a BSoD) and again I couldn't see anything on my desktop being displayed from my monitor.

After restarting again I went into safe mode and waited 5 - 10 mins and everything seemed fine but I restarted to normal mode again then the same blue screen flashed up. I went back to safe mode and scanned for viruses but no threats were found.

I honestly don't know why this is happening so I don't know what is causing this problem.

If it works OK in safe mode we can assume that the screen is OK. I would check the graphics driver.

Try using System Restore,if that works then never accept Driver updates except through Windows.

I fixed it, by disabling a few programs on startup. Thankfully I backed up all the files on my pc just incase anything bad happens to it again. Thanks for the help!
