"New" in the dialogbox is empty. Not possible to make a new folder f.x

    "New" in the dialogbox is empty. Not possible to make a new folder f.x


    Hi

    When rightclicking in a folder from my computer and choosing "new", it stands empty. This is for the folders in the computer

    But when I plug in my android, and rightclicking in a folder from the android, "new folder" is a possibility

    How to fix this for the folders in my computer, i.e to get a possibility to make new folders and more?

    The images have Norwegian language; folder=mappe, tom=empty, ny=new

    My computer:

    "New" in the dialogbox is empty. Not possible to make a new folder f.x-datamaskin.jpg

    My Android:

    "New" in the dialogbox is empty. Not possible to make a new folder f.x-android.jpg

    Hello kjell,

    What's in the "New" context menu will vary per location that you open it. Usually in system locations, you will only have the New -> Folder option available.

    If you right click on your desktop and click on "New", is it still empty?

    Yes. On my old administrator account. Created a new administrator account. Then this problem and some others got solved. I dont know what the reason was

Anybody knows why this folder reapears in C:\Users\User\AppData ? When deleted it just gets back.
I've noticed that sometimes Windows Explorer reports some folders as being empty, even though they aren't. Reentering that folder would reveal the files eventually. Has anyone noticed this bug? I'm already wondering how many folders did I accidentally delete because of this bug.
