I apologize, as I went through google for the download after I read the links and didn't realize they were indeed two different things. I will now test it with Memtest86+ and post the results. Sorry for the flub.

I ran two passes with the proper Memtest86+ (since I need to travel back home for the weekend and am leaving soon) and returned no errors whatsoever. I am curious about the one bit error on the hammer test with memtest86, but the computer hasn't been hanging or rebooting lately....

Should I continue with a full seven passes or should I call it solved by unknown divine intervention?

No let it run the full eight passes, that's the least you should go for to get conclusive results.

So I left it running over the weekend (accidentally). It ran 41 times and returned no errors. Am I good? Should I even worry about the single bit error on the hammer test with Memtest86?

Sorry to keep this going, but it has been randomly restarting again. What do I need to look at? Since there's no memory problems, what would cause it to reboot with no bsod? Is there a log somewhere that I need to dig up?

Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Check your settings against the above tutorial. Use Option One, steps 1-4 then step 6. After that jump to step 9.

I have found the following dump files so far, but I'm not sure how to open them or decipher what they mean. If anyone can find the reason behind the random reboots in these files you are golden.

EDIT: I have found out how to open them in Visual Studio, but I'm not quite sure how to decipher the problem. If anyone needs me to post a link to the dump output on pastebin I can do that as well, or you could run it through VS with WDK because you probably know more about this than I do.

Win 7 firewall fails leak test
I ran "Leak Test"(from GRC Research)on windows 7 and it fails. The test penetrated the Windows 7 firewall. How big a threat is this? I have used Zone Alarm and Comodo in the past but was hoping the 7 firewall would be adequate now. Any thoughts?
