Jack, not that one That setting only makes the start menu/taskbar not show the jump lists but they are still stored and come back as before when you set a number.

To remove all jump list entries and stop storing them:

Yes you are correct. I should of shown that I also have those un-checked.
It's been so long sense I set them I forgot.

I can't remember if I remember yesterday.

If doing as GokAy has suggested doesn't work I'm out of ideas.

In addition to what's already been stated or suggested by UserNameIssues and Gokay:

If you pin the items that you want to keep visible -

you can simply run Ccleaner from a shortcut using the AUTOCLEAN switch

"C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe" /AUTO

and if you select "Taskbar Jump Lists" everything will be cleared except for pinned items.

The folders doesn't show for me too.

Unchecking the 2 options doesn't clean pinned ones.

If I may, let me reply with a question: What's the benefit of having it endless, or 100 of them?
Less code bloat in exchange for a little file space. It is impractical to have every feature that everyone could possibly want. For now, it seems that Microsoft has opted to make this feature on or off - with nothing in between.

Something on your system is not showing the Recent folder's alias: Recent Items

By default, you should not be able to navigate to those folders via clicking. Even if you get to them via the address bar, they still should not display in the navigation pane. Obviously, there is some way to make them show - but is seems silly to have them not show by default.

I thought the idea was to keep certain items (pinned items) and clear the rest. However there's a tutorial here on clearing pinned items.
