Startup loop

I have a Dell computer with windows 7. When I try to startup my computer, it gets stuck in an endless loop. The only way to break the cycle is to go into setup and put the windows 7 cd in. I can choose any option once the cd is in, restore or fix startup. If I restore it tells me that it couldn't complete, then it restarts and loads onto the computer and gives a message saying restore worked and the computer is fine for a few hours until it shuts off and the process starts over again. If I choose to fix startup it tells me that there aren't any problems, then it restarts and loads up fine again until it shuts off and then we go through the same thing again.

Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image so we can see the configuration which often has obvious errors.

Does the PC still have the factory install? If so that is the worst possible install of Win7 one can have, larded with bloatware and duplicate utilities which interfere with better versions built into Win7. That's why most tech enthusiasts won't even run such an install but instead Clean Reinstall Windows 7 which compiles everything that has worked best in Win7 since before it was released.

Everything needed is in the blue link to get and keep a perfect install just like over 1.3 million others have done without a single complaint.

Until then you can Clean Up Factory Bloatware which may relieve the problem. If not work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 making sure you establish a Clean Boot, try a lightweight free AV instead of bloated one, resolve repeat errors in the log, utilize System Resources to find Solutions to problems which might already be queued.

I will attempt to get this, however it requires that I boot up again with the disk and go through that process which takes a while. Is there any way to do it without going through that again?

I took the screenshot and attached it because that was the only way I knew how to do it. I do have the factory install still. I will attempt the other options and return if those aren't helpful or I get stuck again!

I don't have the product key for my windows 7 CD. I was in the process of doing the clean up factory bloat ware and the computer restarted so I'm back at square one.

What's on the removable marked Active? Is it your Installation media or Repair disk? if not remove it and try rebooting. Stray Active partitions can interrupt normal boot.

The rest looks OK.

Is this for the Dell in your specs? The Product Key should be on the COA sticker on bottom or under battery. If not you can order a Reinstallation DVD which is a clean copy of Win7 which auto-activates. Or you can run Dell Windows 7 PC Restore
although I would make your Recovery media first so you have a backup method in case it fails. But you'll have a better install to clean up.

However if you find the Product Key or get the Reinstallation DVD then treat yourself to the best install one can possibly have following Clean Reinstall Windows 7
