    Hello I have the windbg installed but every time I try and use it this is what I get and cant figure out why.

    What utility is that doing the conversion? How did you install WinDBG? Did you setup the .dmp file association correctly? Usually, you just double-click the .dmp and it opens in WinDBG.

    If you follow this exactly, it will work:

    That looks like it's trying to open with Word.

    Yep, agree.

    OP needs to confirm how they installed WinDBG....looks like missing .dmp file association.

    Yes when I click to open someones dump file to see whats going on it goes straight to the picture above and no matter what I do its the same thing time after time.

    The .dump file association is incorrect. Follow the tutorial posted earlier.
