Restored my laptop, now the taskeng.exe keeps popping up...

I restored my laptop about a week ago and Norton was put back on, caused my AVG to go insane. I uninstalled it and my AVG stopped popping up with viruses in my username/app file.
Now it keeps popping up every 10 minutes the taskeng.exe and a message with an error.

Any idea how to stop it...?

There is a task trying to run, open task manager, have a look and delete any tasks that are trying to run.

Why did you have have Norton and AVG ?

Both are garbage, all you need is MSE and MBAM, both are free

We see nothing but problems here with Norton and AVG, twice today now.

You can go over your install thoroughly with Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.
