PC changes to windows Basic 1 minute after turning on, aero forced off

    After my PC decided to re run the assessment itself and failing, I still can't get Aero to work, as it isn't an option I can choose in advanced system settings

    I would try uninstalling the card through Device Manager then physically removing it from your PC, reseat it and reboot. Let Windows find a driver for it and see if the problem is resolved. If it is then update the driver to a newer version.

    Glad to hear you're all sorted. Sometimes we just have to let these PCs know who's boss
