Kernel-Power 41 (63) occuring.
Hello everyone. Recently, I've been getting more frequent crashes. A quick look at Event Viewer and the CRITICAL error "Kernel-Power 41 (63)" caught my eye immediately. I'm guessing it has something to do with the crashes.
First, I would like to highlight that there have been NO BSODs. None at all.
A little description on it:
HTML Code:The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedlyHTML Code:- System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4} EventID 41 Version 2 Level 1 Task 63 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x8000000000000002 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2015-04-27T11:36:35.513619400Z EventRecordID 234505 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 4 [ ThreadID] 8 Channel System Computer Cheese - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - EventData BugcheckCode 0 BugcheckParameter1 0x0 BugcheckParameter2 0x0 BugcheckParameter3 0x0 BugcheckParameter4 0x0 SleepInProgress false PowerButtonTimestamp 130746080707032953
As to when it happens, it occurs randomly at no fixed times. When I play a game on HIGH graphic settings like Skyrim, the game runs as per normal, not all the time it freezes and then crash. It ALSO happens when I leave the computer on idle, not doing anything, or just when I'm surfing the net normally. When the screen freezes, it crashes into a black screen, and the sound loops continuously until I force shut down.
After I force shut it down, I have trouble starting it back up. Most times I have to unplug and reinsert the HDMI cable and it'll boot up normally. If not, when the CPU is turned on, the screen stays black forever.
Just today it crashed while I was away for 10 minutes or so. Couldn't turn it back on even if I unplug and reinsert the HDMI cable, so I reseated the graphics card and RAM (just a single stick 8GB) and then it worked immediately.
So what is causing the problem? It has been happening a lot these days and it's getting frustrating as I can't find a solution around it. I have uploaded the required attachments to this post. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
