Unable to Click Certain Objects Weird Window Priority Issue
Hey Windows 7 Forums,
Having a huge issue I am having a hard time conveying with words, so I have made a video I uploaded to YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1-33S8KnLs [2]
Basically, I am having an issue where right from the moment I log-on, some programs are having issues where I am only able to click a button with the "highest priority" is the only way I can describe it (see video). Once I click a button with a seemingly higher priority, I am unable to click anything else within the software. The issue eventually spreads into general OS navigability until I hit CTRL + ALT + DEL to interrupt out.
At the interrupt screen I have to click on Cancel twice. First, it is almost like there is an invisible window above the interrupt screen. When I click, it removes itself, and only then can I click Cancel and the "window priority" is reset until I click another button to increase its priority.
This whole issue disappears for ~10min if I kill winlogon.exe to force logout. When I log back in everything is fine until something happens. I've been trying to pinpoint what exactly triggers the issue from this approach, but have been unsuccessful.
Tried:
Uninstalling a bunch of things
Removing areo Reinstalling various drivers (mouse gfx keyboard)
Windows Repair Disk
and other things
Really do not want to reformat I have so many things that I would have to reinstall.
If anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt
