    From Win 7 to Win 10... rumors


    Sorry if this is not in the right forum... I have heard rumors that Microsoft will give away a copy of Win 10 to owners of Win 7 but I have not been able to get a confirmation of it or if this is true, when exactly the exchange will take place.

    My PC is acting up (I blame my wife ) and before I take the time to back-up, copy or move things around to install a fresh copy of Win 7, I was thinking that I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone if I were to do so with the copy of Win 10 already.

    Perhaps I should go check out the win10 forum (just thought of that ) but maybe I can also get a correct answer here.

    P.S... btw, what is the link of the win10 forum? I would love to go introduce myself but I don't want to register to a forum that does not belong to this community.

    You might as well get Win7 working properly as you may need to do a 'streaming install', somewhat like those of us getting the build updates for Win10TP.

    The windows updates have already been delivered to 7 users,
    Some have already been getting popup messages that windows 10 is ready

Is it true windows 7 tracks your downloads and torrents? if it does is there any way to make it stop? I feel it a vailotion of privacy if what i do on my computer is being watched all the time :( so please help :shock:
