Try a clean boot and see if you can find the culprit.
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
Download and run ProcessExplorer. It does not need to be installed.
Once the error message is on the screen, start ProcessExplorer and drag the target icon and drop it on the error message window. It will show the process that generated that window highlighted in blue in the PE window.Drag-and-drop target to find an image. If you're not sure which application corresponds to which image in Process Explorer, click and drag the little gun sight icon on the Process Explorer toolbar, and drop it on any visible window to find out what process/image it is.
Many thanks foryour replies chaps, I will give them a go.

I have now found the process that causes the error, how to I stop that process starting at boot-up please?
Many thanks
Brink has these instructions in the Clean Startup tutorial link in post #2 that should help.
If you need more help with a specific program, what program is it, and how did you find it ?9. After you determine the startup item or the service that causes the problem, contact the program manufacturer to determine whether the problem can be resolved. Or, run the System Configuration Utility (msconfig), and then uncheck the check box for the problem item until it can be.
Tried that via MsConfig but it still appears on boot-up.
I found the culprit through Process Manager but cannot stop it appearing?
Many thanks
What is the process. Maybe it's a service? If so look at the Services tab in msconfig. Stop and disable it there.
Hi, I have checked Services and the only non-MS one I have running is my anti-virus?
Many thanks
You still haven't told us what the culprit process is, why ?
If you want to troubleshoot on your own, try MS Sysinternals Autoruns:
