Fax cover sheets missing

The cover sheetsb arte missing when I try to compose a fax. Looking in folder C:/......documents/fax/personal coverpages, I find it empty. Where can I download the appropriate cover pages?

I'm using them for anything I fax from the computer. Manytime I use just the remarks section of the cover sheet.

Hi,

reading the thread because the default fax cover pages included in the Windows 7 fax software do not correspond to what I need, I do not understand how to use .doc or .dot documents in that fax program.

If I try to open the .cov cover pages provided I cannot ( using either Word or Paint )

If I save the .dot / .doc into the fax coverpages folder ( where I have saved an elemnetary one created from scratch using the built in fax cover editor), then the windows 7 fax sofware doesn't "see" them

Hi! PivertMe, welcome to 7F :)

Make sure they are saved to this default folder:
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

You might even have to add a folder to Templates, called Fax Templates to that line:
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Fax Templates

But then you will have to make sure your fax program can see them by making an association.

I choose not to use a cover sheet for most of my Faxes; its a waste of paper for the precipitant. On the top of the fax, there's the time, date, but the "from" and "fax" are blank (see image). I've filled in my sender info, but that only applies when using a cover sheet.

Is there any way to get my sender info on the top of the page?
