Windows 7 - quick launch??

I wanted quick launch but I used Windows 7 for a week and didn't want it any longer.

Yeah I've gone down the 'making it like vista' route... I'm not sure if its a good thing or not, I should have really given myself time to get to know the new docking taskbar and whatnot...

I may give it a chance soon...

Look into 7Stacks and StandaloneStack, these allow you to create a "menu" of programs that are accessed via a single icon pinned to the Windows 7 taskbar.

StandaloneStack looks and works like the stacks in MacOS, where 7Stacks looks more like a built-in windows feature, and it supports transparency.

I created one for MS-Office, and another for video editing/conversion. All told, about 20 programs from 2 icons.

I did have a play with 7stacks and StandaloneStack but I didn't get on with them... I can't remember which it was, but one of them wouldn't work everytime I clicked a stack, I'd be there clicking a few times before it'd come up...

I might have to give it a 2nd chance, I feel like a bit of loser clinging to an XP/Vista style layout
