e-mailing pics to PC from phone reduces quality

Why, when I email a pic from my phone it's 13.9 KB, but if I transfer the same pic by connecting my phone directly to computer it 's 179 KB ?

The phone is reducing the picture, to a smaller file size. On my iPhone6 I have options on how (size) to send photos.

Hey Fireberd, where in iPhone do you set that option?

I am using a 5s, looked in Mail settings and couldn't see. Wonder if 5s have such an option.

Thanks

Yep,
A weird thing is I do not get the prompt when sending a text message with an image :/
Which makes them fail to send too large I'm guessing ?
