    Automatic login: login failed


    Hi, I set up automatic login in netplwiz, but it fails at login. Tried correcting the password, but that isn't changing anything. It is for the correct user.

    Any help?

    What is the error message that you are getting?

    For now, double check using the tutorial below to see if it may help.

    hey you first remove current account and try to make another account again that time check your password and then try to login may be you enter first time wrong password and its fail to update your correct password so delete first account and again setup it

    Deleting the user account worked. Shame lost all the settings though. But better to have automatic login.

Hi guys Is there a way to stop the login? I have the only account on the computer and it is not passworded plus it is the administrator. It is a pain that I have to babysit the PC whilst it is starting up when I could be cooking dinner or something. Thanks

Hi, I have 2 Users on my Win7 Home Basic PC. User A who has Administrator Rights and a password and, User B who has Ordinary Rights with no password. Is there a way that with I boot my PC, User B gets logged in to his Desktop without having to click the user? Thanks in advance.
I did search the forums but couldnt find anything. I installed a program and now my automatic login doesnt work :/ I remember .NET did this on XP before
