Yes it's another dual Boot thread

I have just installed Windows 7 on a new HDD, I have XP on another drive.
The Installation went well and completed however it won't run unless the DVD is in the drive.

I don't get any boot menu and have to select the drive from Bios.

I have run Windows 7's repair option without any success and it dosn't report any errors.

XP works still boots without any problems.

Without the Disc in the Drive I only get as far as this message "Verifying DMI Pool Data............." it hangs at that point.

I tried to use Bcdedit but it denies me access.

It could be a HDD error but I'm not sure how to check for it.

Could anyone help with this please?
