Problems with index in a new hard drive

Hello,
I have a problem with search & index. A few weeks ago I installed a new hard drive, but Windows doesn't index any of the files I keep in this hard drive, despite the location is included in the index list.
Any help?

Thank you,
Bea

Is that drive mounted to A: or B: by any chance?

Yep. Windows still thinks it's a floppy and won't index floppies.

In the left pane, click Disk Management.

Best Windows Experience Index - Hard Drive?
I'm curious to see what kind of numbers people have gotten for the primary hard disk data transfer rate. Under Vista I scored 5.9 on all tests as it was as high as the numbers would go. After a clean install of Win7 Ultimate, I was quite surprised to find my primary hard disk score remained at a...

Can you index an external hard drive so any computer can search it?
I have indexed an external hard drive so that it can be searched quickly in Windows 7 search. I want to know if there is a way to setup the drive with the index so I can mail it to someone who can open it on their computer, and then search through it without dealing with the time-consuming process...

Windows Index - Hard Drive
The Windows Index say I have a 5.9 on my Hard Drive and I have a WD 1T SATA 3 (6 Gigs) 64 meg buffer so what hard drive can I buy that is better than that? I know they have SCSI and 10K rpm but are they any better?

Low Hard Drive Scores on Windows Experience Index
Anybody who has drastically lower scores for their Windows 7 WEI than they did for Vista's WEI, please post your Specs Here. Specifically your HDD's specs and your mainboard. EDIT- Why is this post marked as solved when it is most certainly solved? This seems to work on most cases,...
