I see the Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for optional Microsoft Software when I update Windows setting in your second screenshot, so I'm not sure what you mean by it's not there.

When you click on the Find out more link in your first screenshot it will take you to the Microsoft update site, and you will usually need to check a box there to have it install an update for your Windows Update. It's best to do this in Internet Explorer.

Not sure since you do have the setting available for it. Do you have all other updates installed? What are the 7 optional updates you have available?

Hi,
i was about to post the same kind of solution but without powershell (i never used it) and just command line.

wusa /uninstall /kb:3035583
If you want like me to add it in script, you can add those parameters
wusa /uninstall /quiet /norestart

So indeed, it ll be uninstalled BUT you have to make again a search of updates and it s very possible that it ll appear again. I had the situation on the laptops and than I hide the update to no more have it...

Hi Brink,

I have the update installed on my other pc running W7, but isn't showing W10 upgrade notification icon, do you think I should still uninstall it and make it hidden?

OR has MS fixed the issue?

Thanks again.

If "Get Windows 10" icon isn't showing and you wanted it hidden, then there's nothing else that needs to be done.

It's neither showing, nor have I uninstalled and hidden it.

Should I only hide it or uninstall and than hide on reboot?

Thanks.
