Try clearing CMOS/loading defaults in BIOS.

You can also update BIOS if above fail.
I've talked to Asus and they said it has nothing to do with my motherboard.

Since this is happening every 1 hour maybe a Scheduled Task?

Open Start Menu, search for task schedule, run as admin.
When it opens on the right pane, Enable All Task History (if not already). Exit scheduler.
Now when some task runs it will show in Task Status in the middle pane.
When your monitor goes to sleep, come back here and see if you can spot any particular task has run.

I have also seen a case where one of the motherboard applications was causing this regardless of power options. Do you have any such application installed?

One final note: If Task Scheduler history won't work, you can check Event Viewer (Applications and Services Logs - Microsoft - Windows - TaskScheduler - Operational. These load a bit slow, so be patient.

I enabled the all task history so I guess you are thinking that when I monitors go to sleep there will be a task that shows up in the history.

As far as the motherboard applications I have none running. This is very strange.

Yes, it is worth to check if any scheduled task will show up. Also check the Event viewer part just in case. If these fail, I guess you can carry on with the repair install.

Good luck!
