Yes something similar to that using on screen key board.
However, I couldn't see or copy/replace the contents of my PCs drive
when typed "C:" at the prompt, it said "the drive is not ready"
Use this guide, User Account - Reset Password in Windows 7 I personally used Hiren's Boot CD to reset my password which i forgot a month ago i think.
I have always had success removing passwords with the two software's listed below:
1. Windows Password Unlocker
2. Hiren's Boot CD
Do some research online on how to use and where to get the software's from.

I've used it many times.
The shortcut has an extra character at the end breaking it.
