Windows 7 Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working

This error message appears before my desktop screen appears.

When I close this error message, the desktop show black screen.

I couldn't do anything because of this.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Does CTRL ALT DEL work? Can you open task manager like that? If you can, then click new task and enter explorer.exe See if this will help. If not start in Safe Mode.

Also search the forum for clean startup and follow that tutorial.

I'm no expert but I have had the same problem and solved it by using this Tutorial. It can't hurt anything but it must be followed exactly as stated to work properly.

    By Brink:

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
