Hi
after I choose hibernate and re open my machine it opens to a locked window, can I choose just for it to open to what ever was left open?
I have only one account on here, the admin account.

Just open it, if requested (if you have a password) supply your administrator password.

in control panel / power options go to change plan settings then advanced power settings and the first option in that window "require a password on wakeup" , try setting that to no and see if it cures it ?
