When was the last time you opened your case and blew out all the dust? This may not help your current situation (as I, too, suspect your hard drive may be failing) but it may help your next hard drive, as it is possible that due to an excessive build-up of dust your HD may have overheated.

Also, do you overclock either your CPU or GPU?
i have to open my case since i bought the pc (2 years ago).
is there a way to find out if my hd had overheated?

by the way something really weird happen, anytime i boot my windows 7 installation cd after the "loading windows files" it "redirect" me to "windows is starting"message and the most crazy part of it is that it seems to load but it wont do anything :S
You can use Speedfan. It is a free download.

It would really keep the guessing game down if we had some system spec's to go by. If you only have 4 gigs left on the hd there may not be enough room to load the os. System restore uses a huge amount of drive space over time, could be a point to consider.

Could mean your hard drive is corrupt. Try running chkdsk.

Why do you want to? You can run a command prompt from your repair disk.
