Windows 7: Windows 7 Jumplist

Windows 7 Jumplist

hey guys, new to win 7 and have been reading a lot but haven't been able to find a solution that doesn't involve having to install another program. I am hoping that you guys can give me some advice or at least point me in the right direction.

My issue is that I use the Adobe suite on pretty much a daily basis. In Vista I just had the most common ones (~6) on my quick launch and that was fine enough. With Win7 and the jumplist, I was hoping that there would be a way to have one single icon, folder or otherwise that I could click-hold and slide up to the appropriate app and release in order to launch it. Or maybe even if I could create shortcuts to them with the win key or something nifty like that. Is there a way to do this? Or am i going to have to install one of those stacks programs? If so, which is recommended? Thanks!

Windows 7

Well, what i was trying to do is create a folder of shortcuts of the apps and then pin that to the taskbar thereby hoping to have it allow me to jump to those apps... as i am sure you know, that didn't work... lol but some kind of workaround like that... anything? anyone?

How about pinning the various apps you use frequently to the taskbar, and setting taskbar buttons to "always combine, hide labels." After an initial period of adjustment, I find this to work very well. YMMV, of course.
