Win 7 Ultimate 64 SP1 display driver sleeping?
Not sure what the deal is, but if no user activity is detected for roughly 10-15 minutes, video seems to be either sleeping or going into some sort of standby. I have a GTX 970 with current nvidia driver. Win 7 Hibernate has been disabled via cmd prompt as it was eating up 12gb. Confirmed hibernate file disappeared after disabling. Issue occurred before disabling hibernate.
What's odd is the actual system isn't shutting down like it will/would with hibernate. All LED lights, HD light, etc. remain ON, but the video driver seems to be going into standby as the TV acts like it's not getting a signal and reverts to it's "No Signal" screen. Pressing any button on keyboard wakes it up. I double-checked screen saver was set to "None" as well.
Only thing different I can think of is I don't have a static desktop image and have it shuffling between several images. But again, screen saver was already set to "None" when checked, and I re-selected it to be sure and clicked apply.
Only other oddity is the driver for my mini 360 controller quits working despite not being detected as having issues. The center logo button's light remains on, but the secondary illumination won't turn on. xpadder and the like won't work with it either despite xpadder's options being loaded, which it won't do if the controller is truly disconnected. Have to unplug the controller then reconnect to get the device driver to update properly.
Any ideas?
