yes, i got my win10 from one of the preview builds, which later turned live. i was following online instructions to update to a specific build, and part of the way during install i had to create/enter a microsoft account. then when it was finished, i tried swapping the hdd to another pc and keep getting bsod. no both same chipset gm965 laptops. i found out then this could not be done. or perhaps i was still thinking of my xp days.
oh yeah, i did not even mention about the horrible lags. when u notice inordinate slow-downs, go to settings>update to see for urself. most probably there's an update downloading or maybe it has even installed. a problem which i encountered during my use of win10 was when an update was installed and a Restart was required, but u still wanted to be in the explorer shell. what i encountered (many times!) then was distortion of colors around windows, icons warping, disappeared wallpaper, etc. etc. this was really annoying (and i still think it was done on purpose to 'pester you to reboot'). after a reboot back to normal.
also, twice win10 updates automatically uninstalled ccleaner for me, once registry mechanic, and on several occasions removed 'Uninstall' functions from programs' menu folders under all programs list without informing me. they take it that since u can uninstall from Control Panel, those individual uninstallation .exes are redundant and should be removed on ur behalf. they really assume too much.
another time update auto turned on disk defragmenter scheduler & win system restore, when they were both shut off.
lastly, after one particularly long update, win10 RE-PARTITIONED my hdd automatically i'm not joking (i always made sure i operate from a partitionless drive and do not use bitlocker; there is no such thing as a system reserved partition to me). luckily that only happened once.
