help!! The user profile failed the logon User profile can not be loade

Hello, I have a problem with my windowsc7 profile
When I enter my password I get I message saying

The user profile failed the logon
User profile can not be loaded

I have Google how to fix it and the fix seems to be boot into safe mode
by pressing f8 or f5 but I have tried this and I don't get any menu it just loads to the
    windows Logon screen

So I can't seem to load safe mode is there anything else I can try?
I do still have my windows 7 disk used to install windows 7onto the PC from around 14 months ago
If that can be of any help?

I still have a lot of data on the PC that is not backed up so I don't want to
    wipe the internal HDD

Is there any way I can copy my files to my external HDD as I really don't want to
    Lose them

My PC is an Acer xc-603

    thank you

Hello Blade, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check using the tutorial below to see if it may be able to help you sort this error. :)

User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

hi, I don't have another account so I can't get into windows
as far as I can get is the screen displaying my user name and asking for the password

and again can't get the "safe mode options menu" by pressing f8 or f5
I can get to the bios menus by pressing f12 if that's any help?

    thanks

How about option 3 in the "In Preparation" section to enable the built-in Administrator?
