MS support for Win7 will last how long ?

Was just wondering if anyone has any idea on how long Microsoft will be providing updates and patches for Windows 7 ?

Thanks Thrash ! This Win 7 machine with all of my Adobe software will not being going to Win 10 anytime soon. Like most I do not like the W10 forced updates policy. Though that's another issue.

Hi
I agree
No need to fix what is not broken
It is however past time to review updates before auto downloading and installing them
2020 is a long way down the road.

It is however past time to review updates before auto downloading and installing them ? I do not understand. I do attend to W7 updates on a regular basis. It's 'Patch Friday' for me though as I wait for others to report problems with MS updates & patches.

I'm mainly referring to Recommended and Optional updates,
Some of the win-10 updates were reclassified as Important.
All need to be scrutinized before installing now days is my point

Agreed ! That is one major reason why I am unhappy with MS' mandatory update policy for W10.
