Hi,
You're brave I installed along side once too
I did not like that close of association with Linux and Windows
Although Linux is very difficult to get infections.... it is easily transferred to Windows
What does not effect Linux will effect Windows and the install
Grub is just another reason not too

Even on another partition it's risky because Linux can access Windows but Windows besides seeing the partition can not see Linux

I prefer each on it's own hdd or ssd never connected at the same time.

Thanks for the answer, it seems logical but it is not applicable in my case. Actually I have two laptops and need both OSs due to my work and the programs I run. Furthermore, I experienced this issue only on one of them although they both have the same dual-boot configuration.
