Okay. I think the issue was with Norton the other day. Ever since the upgrade to 10, Norton has been causing a lot of issues for many people. I couldn't get it to install right, then I couldn't get it to activate, then just the other day I couldn't get it to update right. Each time it's acted up, I've had to get help from Norton support. Today, it wouldn't open so I may have to contact Norton support again if the issue happens again tomorrow. But, it's sleeping now and that's the main thing. I use Norton because that's what my ISP provides.

Maxie, how do we fix the desktop computer like we did the Laptop without having to disable anything from waking the computer in device manager?

It's sleeping, but I wish I wouldn't have to disable anything in the device manager to get it to sleep.

Laptop crashes instead of sleeping
My ASUS Laptop has gotten a bit finicky about sleeping when allotted time expires. I noticed a Driver Power State Failure on the last crash. I've reset sleep, display off times and disabled and uninstalled items that could be causing. Updated wireless network driver, but still crashing.

Laptop Not Sleeping
I changed the setting to not sleep when I close the lid while plugged in, however whenever I do press the sleep button on the start menu and close the lid, the laptop boots up again. Would this be a windows error that needs re installation, or is it a hardware issue? Thanks in advance
